Varicose Vein Surgery

Varicose vein are enlarged veins under the surface of the skin of the legs. Patients may simply not like the appearance of these veins, they can cause leg pain and rarely ulcers.

There are several treatment options for varicose veins including compression stockings, radiofrequency ablation and surgery. Dr Adams can offer surgical management of varicose veins. Surgery for varicose veins involves removing the vein from the leg. Smaller veins below the knee are often removed via separate incisions.
