Your Clinic Appointment
Please arrive five to ten minutes early to allow time to complete a patient registration form, or to check your details and relax if you have already done this online.
What you need to bring to your appointment:
- GP referral letter
- Medicare card / DVA card
- Private health insurance details (if relevant)
- List of current medications
- Blood test results
- Radiology (Xray, USS, CT, MRI) reports
- Radiology images (disk or images in folder/envelope)
What to expect at your first appointment
At your first visit Dr Adams will listen to your description of the current problem, ask for details about any other health issues you have and perform an examination. She will review any blood test results and radiology reports/films you have brought with you, or your GP has sent. She will then decide if any further tests are needed to clarify what the diagnosis is, or what your treatment options are. Following this she will explain the condition, your treatment options and what she recommends. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in treatment decisions. If you are proceeding to surgery, a consent form will be signed after Dr Adams has explained the procedure and its risks.

We are located just inside the main entrance. Suite 2 is the second room down the left hand corridor. Please talk to the friendly staff or volunteers in the main hospital reception area.
Free parking is available within the hospital carpark and on the street. Parking can be scarce at peak times so please allow plenty of time (at least 10 minutes) in case you have to park on the street and walk.

We are located inside the Friendlies Pharmacy Building behind McDonald Dental. Once inside the automatic doors take the corridor on the right to the back of the building. Look for the sign “Ramsay Consulting Suites”.
Free parking is available below the building with an internal lift for easy access.
